Managing Hubs Online

The CrewTalk Web Portal gives you a desktop view of your hubs with management tools that are easier to use on a larger screen.

Hub Overview

After signing in, the dashboard shows all hubs you're a member of. Each hub card displays:

  • Hub name and description
  • Member count — Total members in the hub
  • Your role — Owner, Admin, or Member
  • Quick access — Click to open the hub management page

Hub Management Page

Click a hub to open its management page. The hub page has a sub-navigation with:

Overview

  • Hub name and description
  • Total member count
  • Channel configuration
  • Your role in the hub

Members

View and manage all hub members. See Managing Members Online for details.

Invites

Create and manage invite codes. See Managing Invites Online for details.

Hub Settings

Owners and admins can view hub configuration:

  • Hub name — The display name shown everywhere
  • Hub description — Brief context about the hub/production
  • Channels — All 10 channels with their custom names
📝 Note

Hub settings modifications (renaming channels, updating description) are currently managed through the mobile app's Hub Settings drawer. The portal provides a read-only view of the current configuration.

Switching Between Hubs

If you're a member of multiple hubs:

  • The sidebar shows your hub list
  • Click any hub to switch to its management page
  • Each hub has its own members, invites, and settings

Real-Time Sync

All portal actions sync instantly with the mobile app:

  • Adding or removing a member updates the roster on all connected devices
  • Creating an invite code makes it immediately usable
  • Role changes take effect immediately

This means you can manage your team from the portal while they're using the mobile app on set, and they'll see changes in real time.

💡 Dual-Screen Setup

During productions, keep the portal open on a laptop while using the mobile app for communication. This gives you quick access to management tools without leaving the PTT screen on your phone.
